Helen paints places that connect and calm, spaces that are light-filled and open. Her abstract landscape paintings exploring layered light and colour, are rooted in memory and experience.

Helen studied at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2002. Alongside teaching Art, she works from her studio in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
